Scooter Days

We got a scooter on Saturday! I took the boys for a spin around the driveway and then went on a fun ride of my own through the neighborhood. My ride in this morning sealed it. I'm hooked. With temps in the high 60s or low 70s and no traffic between the house and the church, I was in heaven. Now I wish I had a longer commute! (Just kidding, Lord!!!)

It's not a Harley, but still looks like a lot of fun.

I'll bet it cost a lot less as well.

I was in the Harley shop the other day with my boy. They had me "try on" a beautiful new Heritage in metallic maroon. They only wanted $21K for it, but I had to pass. My limit on a motorcycle is $20,000.

Every person I know who has owned a scooter has loved it. Enjoy your commute to church!

It is good to see a 'Pub doing something good for the environment!

Just kidding.

But congrats. Sarah and I got our "marriage car" last month. A Nissan Versa.

Gunny...I ride it like I'm on a Harley. It's all about attitude.

Thanks Omar! I AM loving it. These temperate Tennessee mornings are just perfect for riding.

Mike...I'm an independent. :^)

When I'm blessed to roll through town, we'll definitely have to pimp your ride!

Gunny, don't dare come through Cashville without looking me up. Else wise I'll have to look you up and hunt you down on my hog (er...piglet?)

We will be down Memphis way in August. Wish we could make it out Nashville way.

Close, but no cigar. Sorry we'll miss you. Have a safe trip in August. Make sure you get some dry rub ribs at Rendezvous just up the alley from the Peabody Hotel.
